Who are we?

First and foremost, we are a group of motorists who love driving. Our group is built on two basic principles:

The first bit means that we love to drive. If it has four wheels, we'll have a go. Driving on the road is the essence of our driving and our coaching, as we are affiliated to the IAM. We provide training to car drivers who would like to improve their driving standards and gain many of the benefits of improving our driving and becoming a member of the IAM.  Many of us also do track days, 4x4 off-roading, touring and race schools, in the knowledge that the skills learned can be transferred to the road. And because it's fun, too.

We organise regular social evenings and events, including things like skid-pan experience. Mostly we just want to enjoy driving. So we do.

The second bit is about a process of continuous improvement. None of us knows everything and we're pretty sure the perfect driver hasn't been born yet. So what we do is not just turn out Advanced Test passes, but Advanced Drivers (which is not necessarily the same thing). An Advanced Driver to us is someone who has already reached a certain standard but who wants to move on and improve further. Take a look at our further training page to see how we support this.
